Domaine Armand Rousseau Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru 2017 offers an exceptional gateway into one of Burgundy's most revered winemaking legacies. Sourced from a premium private cellar, this wine presents a rare opportunity to experience the finesse and depth of Rousseau Grand Cru without the typically prohibitive Chambertin price tag.

Hailing from the prestigious Charmes-Chambertin vineyard in the Côte de Nuits, this 2017 vintage showcases the region's hallmark characteristics of elegance, complexity, and powerful structure. The wine's aromatic profile reveals notes of ripe red cherries, subtle earthiness, and a hint of spice, supported by a silky texture and a lingering finish that speaks to its Grand Cru status.

Perfectly suited to cellar aging, the Domaine Armand Rousseau Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru 2017 promises increasing complexity over time, embodying the terroir-driven excellence that collectors and connoisseurs prize. Reviews

This is superb, with everything in the right place, beginning with macerated cherry, kirsch, sandalwood and stone notes. Layers of flavors build on the palate, remaining fresh and focused through the lingering aftertaste. Great energy here.
Light, pale and charming, this is always the most approachable and forward of the Rousseau grand cru bottlings, almost ready to drink from barrel. It's sweet and appealing, with supple summer pudding flavours, a hint of cola and supple tannins. (TA)
