Reviews

Shy in aroma, this red offers saturated flavors of cherry, currant, rose and mineral, displayed on a taut, linear frame. It's well-integrated, with a chalky line of tannins underlying it all. Shows terrific balance, and the finish just keeps giving.
A comparatively recent addition to the Rousseau range - 2012 was the first vintage - this 1.17ha monopole wine is normally shown first at the domaine. Subtly wooded with no new oak, it's a smooth yet refreshing Gevrey with sweet raspberry fruit and appealing texture. Very easy to drink. (TA)
