A new Tuscan classic arrives. From the storied hills of Chianti, Terre del Buontalenti is the personal vision of Alberto Antonini, one of Italy’s most revered wine minds. Organically farmed and shaped by limestone-rich soils, this inaugural Chianti DOCG captures Sangiovese at its most authentic: vibrant, savoury and effortlessly drinkable. It’s a wine that honours tradition while feeling unmistakably modern — a true taste of Tuscany, now landing in Australia for the first time.

Reviews

A collaboration between Alberto Antonini and a few small growers. Yes, it’s screwcap. I liked this straight away because it’s not trying too hard to be anything other than a nice drink. It’s medium-bodied at best, juicy red fruits, tobacco, dried herbs, earth and spice. It’s fresh, has a light grip to rusty tannin, fresh but balanced acidity, something a little mulchy in the mix, but in a nice way, and the finish offers good length. Very good drinking. Uncomplicated charm. Recommended.
