All Saints Estate, founded in 1864 on the banks of the Murray River at Wahgunyah in Rutherglen, is one of Australias most historic fortified wine producers, recognised for its distinctive castle-like cellars and mastery of solera ageing. The Liqueur Muscat NV is created from late harvested muscat grapes that are partially raisined before fermentation is arrested with neutral spirit. The wine is then transferred to seasoned oak casks, where it undergoes long oxidative maturation under Rutherglen’s warm continental climate. Parcels of different ages are blended to achieve both depth and freshness, with older material contributing rancio, treacle and spice, while younger wine brings aromatic lift.
