The 2011 vintage was characterized by a cooler growing season, resulting in a wine of delicate elegance. The 2011 Echézeaux showcases vibrant red fruit, such as cherry and raspberry, paired with floral and spicy nuances. Its fine tannins and fresh acidity give it a smooth, approachable texture while maintaining a degree of structure that promises good evolution in the bottle. While this Echézeaux is more immediately accessible compared to more powerful years, it still offers long-term ageing potential and will continue to develop in complexity.
