Del Diablo Loco Angel of the Abyss 2008 is a cult Australian Shiraz from McLaren Vale, crafted in the bold, dark-themed boutique range of Del Diablo Loco. This premium red is deep, generous and decadently styled, offering rich flavours of dark plum, mocha and chocolate, layered with soft, velvet-textured tannins.
The 2008 vintage holds a distinctive place in modern Australian wine history, having featured in Virgin Australia’s premium lounge wine selection. Its full-bodied character and comforting richness make it an excellent match for grilled steak, smoky barbecue, gourmet burgers and hearty winter dinners.
Sourced from a premium private cellar, this mature McLaren Vale Shiraz is an intriguing addition to any collection of Australian red wine. Enjoy its luxurious, generous style alongside rich cuisine or savour it as a standout example of bold South Australian Shiraz.
