The Golden Cut Collection is a premium series within The Coopers Choice range, curated to showcase small batches and single casks where the spirit and the wood have reached a point of perfect harmony. The name refers to the "heart of the run," the most desirable portion of the distillation, and the series is designed to deliver a bold, honest, and unadulterated experience. Every bottling in this collection is presented at a robust 50% ABV, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring, ensuring the true character of the cask remains intact.
This Caol Ila boasts a robust 50% ABV and an elegant Ruby Port wood finish. A complete package, this is a flavour packed dram, with everything you could want. Fruity, spicy, smoky, and sweet on the finish. Only 720 bottles of this masterpiece of Islay whisky exist!
