Ruadh Mhor is the peated alter-ego of the Glenturret distillery, a luxury Single Malt producer from the Scottish highlands. Finished in a newly-charred oak cask, this single cask expression is punchy on two fronts, the inherent fruitiness of the distillery's spirit and the pungent smoky influence of highland peat, there's plenty to chew on.

Expect dried orchard fruit, sweet vanilla and a soft herbaceousness that leads into the smokier flavours in the glass. Wood smoke, and a faint salinity, peat from the highlands rather than the isles.

On one hand fresh, on the other, comfortable like an old living room fireplace.
