This delicious dram from Thompson Bros was distilled at a mystery Highland distillery. You can taste sea-spray and a soft peat on the palate, and if you listen to the glass you might just hear a Viking battle cry…

Aged in refill oak casks, expect a powerful nose, charred nuts & salty barley, rosemary and heather smoke, as well as quince and sweet malt. On the palate, honeyed apple, wet sea-side stone and smoked meats, moreish peat. The finish is crisp, robust and earthy, with peat lingering on the tongue.
